This is an exciting time for Egis, as we have an opportunity for a Contract and Change Manager. You will be responsible for the commercial and contractual management of a dedicated Task Order delivered under the NEC3 Professional Services Contract. Acting on behalf of the consortium, with Egis as Lead Consultant, you will ensure contractual compliance while leading all contract administration and change management activities throughout the lifecycle of the Task Order.
Working closely with the Delivery Manager, Project Director, Project Controls, Technical Leads and consortium partners, you will proactively manage contractual obligations, compensation events, early warnings, change proposals and client communications to protect the consortium's commercial position while maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Client.
This role requires a strong understanding of NEC contracts, engineering project delivery and collaborative working across multiple organisations. You will play a key role in the commercial success of one of the UK's largest nuclear infrastructure programmes. Represent the ICOSH consortium in managing contractual relationships with the Client and benefit from excellent career development opportunities within Egis, with progression into Senior Commercial, Contract Management or Project Leadership roles.

Contract Management
- Act as the primary Contract & Change Manager for a dedicated Task Order delivered under the Framework Contract.
- Provide contractual advice and support to the Delivery Manager, Project Direction and consortium partners throughout project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with the NEC Professional Services Contract and all Task Order contractual requirements.
- Interpret contractual obligations and advise project teams on contractual risks and opportunities.
- Manage contractual correspondence with the Client, ensuring consistency, quality and contractual compliance.
- Maintain contractual registers, including Early Warnings, Compensation Events, Notifications, Instructions, Assumptions and contractual commitments.
- Support governance reviews and provide contractual status reports to senior management.
Change Management
- Lead the end-to-end management of Compensation Events and contractual changes.
- Coordinate the identification, assessment, pricing and submission of Compensation Events in accordance with NEC contractual timescales.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary impact assessments covering programme, cost, resources and technical scope.
- Work closely with Planning, Cost Control and Technical teams to develop robust quotations supported by appropriate evidence.
- Monitor the progress of all change requests through approval, implementation and close-out.
- Ensure approved changes are reflected within project budgets, schedules and delivery baselines.
- Identify opportunities to maximise value recovery while maintaining collaborative behaviours with the Client.
Commercial & Financial Support
- Support the preparation of Applications for Payment by ensuring all approved changes and contractual entitlements are accurately reflected.
- Review contractual assumptions affecting project forecasts and financial performance.
- Assist with commercial negotiations and clarification meetings with the Client.
- Support dispute avoidance through early engagement and clear contractual communication.
Consortium Coordination
- Act on behalf of the ICOSH consortium in contractual matters relating to the assigned Task Order.
- Coordinate contractual inputs from consortium partners to ensure a consistent position is presented to the Client.
- Facilitate alignment between technical, commercial and project management teams across the consortium.
- Promote collaborative behaviours while protecting the consortium's contractual and commercial interests.
Risk & Governance
- Identify contractual risks and opportunities and ensure they are appropriately captured within the project Risk Register.
- Support Early Warning meetings and contribute to proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Produce regular reports on contract performance, change status, commercial exposure and contractual compliance.
- Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement of contract and change management processes.
- Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management, Law or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in Contract Management, Change Management or Commercial Management within major engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts, preferably the Professional Services Contract (PSC).
- Experience managing Compensation Events, Early Warnings and contractual correspondence.
- Understanding of project controls, planning, cost management and risk management principles.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex contractual requirements and communicate them clearly to multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience drafting contractual correspondence.
- Membership of RICS, APM, ICE or another relevant professional institution is desirable.
- Experience within the nuclear sector or other highly regulated industries would be advantageous.
