We are seeking an Intermediate Civil / Structural Engineer to join our team for a prestigious nuclear project in Mumbai, India. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a collaborative approach to ensure the successful delivery of complex design activities.
Responsibilities:
Design Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed designs under the Architect Engineer scope, including specifications, calculations, drawings, and diagrams, in alignment with applicable codes and standards.
- Review and evaluate designs provided by others to ensure compliance with requirements, interfaces, feasibility, constructability, and Identification of optimization opportunities.
- Ensure designs are feasible, constructible, and optimized for project needs while maintaining compliance with international and European codes and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve complex engineering challenges and manage interfaces with other disciplines.
- Coordinate with modellers and ensure alignment across design activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Review the work performed by junior engineers and provide constructive feedback.
- Provide technical support during the design and implementation phases to resolve challenges and maintain quality.
- Develop and maintain direct relationships with contractors to facilitate project progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with software such as Robot, Staad Pro, Navis Freedom, and AutoCAD is required. Knowledge of Ansys would be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge with applicable international and European codes and standards.
- Proven experience in design of civil and structural engineering projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage interfaces effectively.
Experience in nuclear projects will be considered an advantage.
