We are seeking a Junior Civil / Structural Engineer to join our team for a prestigious nuclear project in Mumbai, India. The ideal candidate will bring foundational technical expertise, a willingness to learn and contribute effectively to design activities, working collaboratively with senior engineers to ensure successful delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the assessment of designs provided by others to ensure compliance with project requirements, interfaces, feasibility, and constructability.
- Identify optimization opportunities and improvements in design.
- Develop designs within the Architect Engineer scope, including specifications, calculations, drawings, diagrams, and lists, ensuring adherence to project requirements, codes, standards, feasibility and constructability.
Background:
- Educational: Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering.
- Software Proficiency: Robot, Staad Pro, Navis Freedom, AutoCAD. Knowledge of Ansys will be an asset.
- Experience: 1-5 years
- Codes & Standards: Knowledge of applicable international and European codes and standards for design.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong understanding of design principles and technical documentation.
- Ability to assess and develop designs based on international codes and standards.
- Familiarity with software tools such as Robot, Staad Pro, Navis Freedom, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to collaborate and contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Previous experience in Nuclear projects will be an advantage.
