About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Civil Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing various aspects of our civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee daily construction activities and coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations and quality control measures on construction sites
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
- Manage project budgets and resources, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Lead and mentor a team of construction workers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports for management
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement design changes
- Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making processes
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering projects
- Valid Qatar driving license
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in project management software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented approach to work with a focus on quality and safety
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
