About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Civil/Structural Inspector to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of civil and structural components on construction projects, ensuring compliance with applicable building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. You will play a critical role in maintaining quality assurance and protecting project integrity through meticulous documentation and professional reporting.
- Conduct comprehensive structural and civil inspections at various project stages, including foundation, framing, concrete placement, and finishing work
- Verify compliance with Saudi building codes, international standards, and project specifications
- Document inspection findings through detailed reports, photographs, and field notes using both traditional and digital methods
- Identify deficiencies, non-conformances, and safety hazards, and communicate findings to project management and contractors
- Analyze structural components and construction materials to assess quality and workmanship
- Prepare clear, organized inspection reports and maintain accurate records for project documentation
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to resolve construction issues and ensure corrective actions
- Monitor safety protocols and procedures on job sites to ensure compliance with regulations
- Perform material testing coordination and verification as required
- Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders regarding inspection status and project progress
What do we need from you
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in structural inspection, civil engineering inspection, or related field
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and inspection methodologies
- Proficiency in structural assessment and analysis techniques
- Excellent report writing and technical communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize and maintain detailed inspection documentation
- Solid understanding of construction materials, including concrete, steel, and masonry
- Familiarity with safety protocols and construction site procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with inspection software and digital documentation tools
- Familiarity with Saudi building codes and regulations (preferred)
- Experience with CAD or building information modeling (BIM) software (preferred)
- Background in commercial or infrastructure project inspection (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections efficiently
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
