We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Inspector for our Port Project in Kuwait. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of our port infrastructure development.
- Perform regular inspections and quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate daily with the Contractor, supervision team, and discipline engineers to ensure smooth site progress.
- Verify that construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and HSE requirements.
- Monitor workmanship, materials, equipment, and construction sequences to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Maintain inspection records, checklists, test results, and site diaries.
Provide input to daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.
Support the identification of potential risks, delays, or constructability issues.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, recommending adjustments as necessary
- University Degree in Civil Engineer or relevant Field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering
Strong understanding of civil construction methods and sequencing for port projects.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Good reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary and multi-stakeholder environment.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of identifying risks and non-compliances early.
