We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Urban Development team in Sunshine Coast. This role offers the chance to work on diverse, high-impact projects and contribute your expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality civil design solutions across a range of projects.
Contribute to the development of budgets and preparation of fee proposals.
Undertake detailed civil design, including earthworks, drainage, car parks, roads, pavements, and utilities.
Collaborate closely with architects, landscape architects, and other engineers at project meetings.
Support project management activities, including scheduling and reporting.
Assist with bids, proposals, and other business development initiatives.
Promote continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) with NER accreditation.
4+ years’ experience in civil design for land development, or brownfield projects.
Solid technical expertise in civil design with knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes.
Familiarity with brownfield projects, water environments, and water resource management.
Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, 12D, Drains, and Microsoft Project.
Experience in QA processes and design reviews.
