The Civil Engineer - Wet Utilities will play a critical role in overseeing the implementation of civil works related to wet utility networks. This includes ensuring adherence to approved specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The role demands expertise in supervising water, sanitation, and other wet utility infrastructure projects while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor the implementation of wet utility works, including water supply, drainage, sanitation, irrigation, and flood management systems.
Ensure all project works are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
Review and document site delivery orders, material approvals, and other project documentation.
Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and standards.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical and on-site challenges effectively.
Prepare and submit progress reports, inspection logs, and related documentation to project managers and other stakeholders.
Maintain an updated record of project drawings, revisions, and approvals.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site.
Contribute to lessons learned and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in supervising wet utility projects, including water supply and drainage systems.
Registered as an Engineer with the Saudi Council of Engineers
Strong knowledge of wet utility infrastructure, standards, and best practices.
Experience in preparing and reviewing infrastructure studies, technical specifications, and material/equipment requirements.
Proven ability to manage site inspections, quality control, and contractor deliverables.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is an advantage.
Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in technical reporting and documentation.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
