Key Responsibilities includes:
·Develop and execute a Commercial Strategy and yearly action plan in line with the groups strategic orientations
·Define and achieve the commercial strategic objectives of Egis Group on a yearly basis with periodic review (Strategic Orientations + Business Plan).
·Develop and boost the Business Development activity through cross-functional collaboration with all the Business Lines and Countries.
·Develop and implement strategies for developing major projects across multiple domains, working closely with Business Lines and Countries to ensure projects’ success and profitability.
·Lead by example, as a Key Market-facing Egis’ representative, in promoting a customer-centric approach, ensuring that business development initiatives align with the needs and expectations of clients in different countries.
Sales and Business Development
·Coordinate and prioritize business development efforts, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximizing opportunities for growth.
·Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry influencers to enhance the company's reputation and market position.
·Work closely with the marketing team, ensuring effective brand positioning, messaging, and lead-generation activities.
·Maintain a global perspective and stay informed about market dynamics, regulations, and local nuances in different countries, adapting business development strategies accordingly.
Financial management and reporting:
·Participate in setting up the Region ’s Order Intake objectives and follow up during forecast and closing exercises.
·Conduct and manage auditing activities related to “Egis’ contract acquisition process” making sure the commercial activity complies with profitability targets and ESG requirements.
Ensure full utilization of the CRM and that the internal reporting framework is fit for purpose enabling leadership teams to have visibility of progress against financial targets and customer satisfaction measures.
·Leverage great relationships with clients to support in resolving difficult collection issues with particular involvement in collecting major bad debts.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
·Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of business development professionals. This includes setting performance targets with the Business lines and Countries, conducting regular performance reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.
·Build and develop strong relationships and effective communication with stakeholders across different business lines and countries, ensuring alignment and shared goals to facilitate seamless information sharing and decision-making across the matrix organization.
·Proactively tackle challenges that emerge from the matrix structure, by collaborating with stakeholders to discover mutually beneficial solutions and foster robust relationships.
Ensure Egis Group's code of Ethics & and code of Integrity are fully implemented as well as other company standards and rules at all levels (Compliance, H.S.E, H.R Management code...)
He/she will be part of global sales network under the leadership of Group CCO
- At least 15 years of experience in the field of engineering and/or construction with strong international experience at senior-level positions.
- Strong understanding and experience of Asia market
- Business development and Market-facing capabilities.
- Experience in managing key accounts with yearly volumes of activity greater than 10M€
- Proven track record of success in driving profitable growth and commercial efficiency within a matrix organization.
- Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, with the ability to analyze complex business challenges and identify innovative solutions.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving ambitious goals.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and influence key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strategic partnerships and client relationships.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes
- Proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
