About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chargehand - Production to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Chargehand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Lead and motivate a team of production workers to achieve daily targets and maintain high-quality standards
- Coordinate production activities, allocate resources, and optimize workflow to maximize efficiency
- Monitor and maintain production equipment, ensuring proper operation and scheduling maintenance as needed
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in the production area
- Conduct quality control checks and address any issues promptly
- Train new team members and provide ongoing guidance to improve skills and performance
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve production-related issues and implement process improvements
- Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and documentation
- Assist in developing and implementing production schedules and plans
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in the production area
What do we need from you
- 3-5 years of experience in a production environment, with a proven track record in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment operation
- Excellent team leadership and motivational skills
- Proficiency in production process management and quality control techniques
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in manufacturing
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency and productivity
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing preferred
- Familiarity with production equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office suite
