We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shuttering Carpenter to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Carpenter in our organization, you will play a crucial role in creating, installing, and repairing various wooden structures and fixtures in both residential and commercial projects.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials needed and installation procedures
• Construct, install, and repair wooden structures such as doors, windows, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall using various hand and power tools
• Assess the quality of woodwork and materials to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards
• Install formwork for concrete pouring in construction projects
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met
• Adhere to local building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or property owners
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper care and storage of tools and equipment
• Adapt to various project requirements, including potential work on high-rise buildings or luxury properties common in Dubai

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Shuttering carpenter in similar projects
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Extensive knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and best practices
• Proficiency in using various carpentry tools, machines, and equipment
• Strong understanding of local building codes and safety regulations in Dubai
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, climb, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions
• Valid work permit for Dubai, United Arab Emirates
• Proficiency in English for effective communication with a diverse workforce
• Knowledge of local construction practices and standards in Dubai
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and work schedules
• Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting project deadlines efficiently
