We are seeking an experienced Building Structural BIM Engineer/Modeler with strong expertise in structural BIM modeling for large-scale building projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working on commercial buildings, airport facilities, and hospital projects, along with exposure to Canadian and/or U.S. projects. The role requires close coordination with multidisciplinary teams, particularly MEP and architectural teams, to ensure accurate and clash-free BIM deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed structural BIM models using Revit in compliance with project standards.
- Prepare structural drawings, construction documentation, and BIM deliverables.
- Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and other project stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and design integration.
- Perform clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks.
- Support BIM execution planning and implementation throughout project lifecycles.
- Manage and collaborate on projects through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure compliance with client standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings and resolve design conflicts.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document review, markup, and collaboration.
- Ensure quality control of BIM models and adherence to project BIM standards.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Structural BIM Modeling for building projects.
- Experience working on:
- Commercial Buildings
- Airport Buildings
- Hospital Projects
- Exposure to Canadian and/or U.S. building projects is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering drawings and construction methodologies.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, especially MEP disciplines.
