About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Building Engineer for site supervision project in Kuwait.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with local regulations.
- Supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, safety standards, and progress
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines
- Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material samples
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and technical records
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Identify potential risks or conflicts and propose effective solutions
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management
- Oversee quality control processes and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Collaborate with the project team to optimize construction methods and improve efficiency
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field
- Valid membership with the Kuwait Society Engineers (KSE)
- Minimum 12 years of experience in building engineering and site supervision, preferably on large-scale construction projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality control processes
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Kuwait
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical report writing and communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead on-site personnel
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
