About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical BMS/Maximo Operator to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Building Management Systems (BMS) and IBM Maximo Asset Management software to ensure efficient facility operations.
- Monitor and control building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and security, using BMS software
- Utilize IBM Maximo for asset management, work order processing, and preventive maintenance scheduling
- Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and energy efficiency opportunities
- Respond to and troubleshoot system alarms and equipment malfunctions
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate repairs and system upgrades
- Generate reports on system performance, energy consumption, and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with Qatar's building codes and regulations
- Implement and maintain energy management strategies to optimize building performance
- Conduct regular system audits and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Stay updated on the latest BMS and Maximo software updates and industry best practices
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BMS operations and Maximo software
- Proficiency in Building Management Systems (BMS) and IBM Maximo Asset Management software
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and energy management systems
- Experience in facility management or related field
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Relevant certifications in BMS or Maximo (e.g., IBM Maximo Certified Professional) preferred
- Understanding of building automation and control systems
- Knowledge of energy efficiency practices and sustainability principles
- Familiarity with Qatar's building codes and regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
