We are seeking a skilled BIM - Dry Utilities specialist to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for dry utility systems, including electrical, gas, and telecommunications infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient design and coordination of utility systems in construction projects.
- Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for dry utility systems using industry-standard software
- Coordinate with project teams to integrate dry utility designs into overall building information models
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between dry utilities and other building systems
- Generate accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for dry utility components
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to optimize utility designs and improve constructability
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, utility regulations, and industry standards
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports for project stakeholders
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise on dry utility systems
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices in dry utility design
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in BIM for dry utilities or a related field
- Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong knowledge of dry utility systems, including electrical, gas, and telecommunications infrastructure
- Excellent 3D modeling and visualization skills
- Familiarity with industry standards, local building codes, and utility regulations
- BIM certification, such as Autodesk Certified Professional, is preferred
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
