BIM Modeler – Mechanical

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D models of HVAC & PHE systems using Revit
• Develop drawing outputs from the BIM model
• Update models and drawings based on engineer comments
• Develop schedules and take-off from the model for BOQ support and other project uses
• Develop project modelling & drafting templates, block and BIM families
• Responsible for hosting and maintaining project BIM models in CDE (Autodesk Construction Cloud – ACC)
• Responsible for generating review workflows for engineer reviews and project submissions
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements
• Ensure models comply with industry standards and project specifications
• Coordinate with BIM Coordinator to perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts in collaboration with the design team
• Maintain up-to-date models and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in project meetings to provide insights and updates on modelling progress
• Assist in preparing and presenting project documentation and visualizations
• Willing to take on project BIM coordination responsibilities

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Systems, or a related field
• Proven experience in HVAC & PHE modelling using BIM software
• Strong understanding of HVAC & PHE systems and their design principles
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD and AutoCAD MEP
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and documentation skills
