Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain BIM models for water infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with project engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate design requirements into the BIM models.
- Produce detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for various water infrastructure components, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural elements.
- Utilize Revit for creating and managing project documentation, ensuring all models and drawings are up to date and meet industry standards.
- Assist in the coordination and clash detection processes, identifying and resolving conflicts in the design.
- Support the project team with technical expertise in BIM-related tasks and provide training to junior staff as required.
- Collaborate with the BIM Manager to implement and maintain BIM standards and workflows across projects.
- Utilize Civil 3D to integrate BIM models on larger infrastructure development layouts, as needed. Utilize AutoCAD to provide more details and enhance civil design elements within 2D extracted layouts.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss and review design progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices related to BIM and water infrastructure design.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a BIM Operator in water infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structure, MEP, Architecture) is essential.
- Experience with Civil 3D is a plus.
- Strong understanding of water infrastructure systems and components.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
Skills:
- High knowledge of Revit is a must.
- Proficiency in BIM (Revit), CAD (AutoCAD), Civil design (Civil 3D is a plus), Collaborative Platforms (ACC is a plus) and other relevant software tools.
- Knowledge of urban and fluvial infrastructures (Drinkable Water Treatment Plant, Waste Water Treatment Plant, River Works, Channels, Bridges, Culverts…).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
