Key Responsibilities:
- Model Creation and Management:
- Develop and maintain accurate, detailed 3D BIM models by using Revit.
- Ensure models comply with project specifications and industry standards.
- Integrate models from different disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) to create a comprehensive representation of the project.
- Coordinate with associated project staff to ensure project BIM standards are met.
- Take an active interest in the other disciplines like Façade and Lighting.
- Meets deadlines as required and maintains performance under pressure.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the BIM model reflects the design intent.
- Clearly communicate model updates and potential issues to project team members.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings to resolve conflicts and maintain model consistency.
- Technical Expertise:
- Develop and implement a BIM Execution Plan (BEP) outlining BIM usage for the specific project.
- Extract construction documents like shop drawings and fabrication schedules directly from the BIM model.
- Conduct quality checks to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies within the model.
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices.
- Degree in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of architectural and construction principles.
- Proficiency in BIM by using Revit.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous.
- Intermediate level in English is preferred.
