About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Manager to join our innovative team in London Waterloo Kingdom. In this pivotal role, you will lead the implementation and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across our projects, ensuring efficient delivery and optimal collaboration amongst teams.

  • Develop and implement BIM strategies and workflows for various construction and engineering projects
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of BIM models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate BIM processes into design, construction, and facility management phases
  • Manage and coordinate BIM data exchange between various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BIM team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain BIM standards, guidelines, and best practices for the organisation
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks on BIM models and deliverables
  • Resolve complex BIM-related issues and provide innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency
  • Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements to current processes
  • Liaise with clients and project managers to ensure BIM requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle
  • Represent the organisation at industry events and conferences related to BIM technology and practices

What do we need from you

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM implementation and management
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field experience
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex BIM projects
  • Proficiency in BIM software, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant platforms
  • Advanced 3D modelling and visualisation skills
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • In-depth understanding of BIM processes and workflows across various project types
  • Knowledge of UK building codes, regulations, and BIM standards
  • Experience in managing and mentoring BIM teams
  • Familiarity with construction methodologies and project lifecycles
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Professional certifications such as BIM certification or relevant industry qualifications are highly desirable
  • Willingness to travel within the UK
  • Minimum of 3 days in the London Office
