About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented BIM Lead - Roads to join our organization in Bengaluru, India. In this pivotal role, you will lead the Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy and execution for road and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for coordinating BIM workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving the adoption of BIM best practices across project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality BIM deliverables that enhance project efficiency and collaboration.

  • Lead and manage BIM modeling activities for road infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications
  • Develop and implement BIM execution plans (BEP) aligned with project requirements and organizational standards
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including designers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless BIM integration
  • Perform clash detection and resolution using BIM coordination software to identify and mitigate conflicts before construction
  • Mentor and supervise junior BIM professionals and modeling teams, providing technical guidance and performance feedback
  • Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and best practices across projects
  • Analyze project data and BIM models to optimize design solutions and improve project delivery timelines
  • Prepare and present BIM reports, visualizations, and documentation to project stakeholders and clients
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards and other relevant BIM guidelines and regulations
  • Collaborate with project management teams to integrate BIM into overall project workflows and decision-making processes
  • Stay current with emerging BIM technologies, tools, and industry trends relevant to road infrastructure projects

What do we need from you

  • 5+ years of professional experience in BIM modeling and coordination, with a minimum of 3 years leading BIM initiatives on road or infrastructure projects
  • Advanced proficiency in BIM authoring software such as Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, or equivalent industry-standard tools
  • Demonstrated expertise in BIM coordination software including Navisworks, Solibri, or similar platforms
  • Strong knowledge of road design standards, specifications, and infrastructure project delivery methodologies
  • Comprehensive understanding of BIM workflows, standards (ISO 19650), and best practices
  • Proven experience in clash detection, coordination, and resolution on complex projects
  • Excellent project coordination and team leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in 4D/5D modeling and advanced visualization techniques (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Indian road standards, regulations, and infrastructure project requirements (preferred)
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior BIM professionals (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Proficiency in organizing and managing large-scale project data and documentation
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
