About the Role

As a BIM Designer - Mechanical (Revit) within our Infrastructure Team, you will play a key role in developing and coordinating BIM models and engineering drawings for infrastructure projects. You will work closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, high-quality, and coordinated project deliverables in accordance with project requirements and BIM standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop, modify, and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical infrastructure systems using Autodesk Revit. 

  • Prepare and update engineering drawings, layouts, sections, schedules, and project documentation. 

  • Support the design and modeling of mechanical systems for infrastructure projects, including pumping stations, utility facilities, water and wastewater infrastructure, transportation facilities, and associated buildings. 

  • Coordinate BIM models with civil, structural, electrical, wet utilities, and architectural disciplines. 

  • Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks and other BIM coordination tools. 

  • Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), company standards, and client requirements. 

  • Assist engineers in the preparation of design documentation, quantity take-offs, and technical deliverables. 

  • Participate in project coordination meetings and support the resolution of design and modeling issues. 

  • Maintain model accuracy, data integrity, and proper version control throughout project execution. 

  • Support BIM implementation and digital engineering initiatives across infrastructure projects. 


What do we need from you

Qualifications 

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 

  • Autodesk Revit Certification is an advantage. 

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in BIM modeling and mechanical design for infrastructure projects. 

Technical Requirements 

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP for mechanical modeling and documentation. 

  • Experience in the modeling of Pumping Stations, Water and Wastewater Facilities, Utility Buildings, HVAC Systems, Mechanical Infrastructure System, Fire Protection Systems 

  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, Civil 3D,Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash detection. 

  • Understanding of BIM standards, LOD requirements, and project delivery workflows. 

  • Ability to extract drawings, schedules, and quantities from BIM models. 

  • Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical infrastructure systems. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 

  • Good communication and coordination skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. 

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines. 

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development. 

Preferred Experience 

  • Experience on infrastructure projects such as water, wastewater, transportation, and utility developments. 

  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 BIM standards and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows. 

  • Knowledge of Dynamo, Revit Families, and BIM automation tools is an added advantage.
