We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Design Engineer specializing in road projects to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will utilize cutting-edge Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology to design and develop efficient and sustainable road infrastructure projects.
- Create and manage 3D BIM models for road design projects using advanced software tools
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate various aspects of road design, including alignment, grading, and drainage
- Analyze and optimize road designs to ensure compliance with local and international standards
- Generate accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates using BIM data
- Develop and maintain BIM execution plans and workflows for road projects
- Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and improve project efficiency
- Prepare detailed design documentation and technical reports
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices in road design
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 5 years of experience in BIM for road design projects
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and Infraworks
- Strong 3D modeling and visualization skills
- In-depth knowledge of road design principles and standards
- Familiarity with GIS software and its applications in transportation projects
- Excellent CAD skills and ability to produce accurate design drawings
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Experience with transportation infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferred
- Expertise in transportation engineering and infrastructure planning
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
