About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the implementation and maintenance of Building Information Modeling standards across our projects. You will work closely with project teams, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure BIM models meet quality standards, comply with established protocols, and deliver exceptional results. - Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of BIM standards, guidelines, and execution plans across projects
- Maintain and update BIM models, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to company standards and protocols
- Perform regular quality assurance and quality control checks on BIM models and data to identify and resolve inconsistencies, errors, and omissions
- Conduct clash detection analysis using industry-standard tools such as Navisworks, Revizto, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Coordinate BIM file exchanges, archiving of milestone submittals, and data management to ensure organized and accessible project documentation
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to BIM implementation and provide timely solutions to project teams
- Assist in resolving corrupt files, model auditing, and data recovery to maintain model integrity
- Enforce BIM file naming conventions and ensure compliance with project-specific requirements and the Building Execution Plan (BEP)
- Support project teams with BIM orientation, training, and guidance on modeling methods and company standards
- Verify and validate the accuracy and completeness of BIM data, classifications, and assessments
- Collaborate with technical teams to produce clash detection reports and digital engineering documentation
- Assist with project setup and configuration of BIM collaboration platforms and tools
- Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in BIM technology and methodologies
- Support the resolution of complex modeling tasks and provide technical assistance as needed
What do we need from you
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or equivalent education
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in BIM design, coordination, and collaboration
- Proficiency in BIM software including Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Revizto, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices
- Excellent analytical and technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong command of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely with diverse stakeholders including clients, engineers, and project teams
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when necessary
- Self-motivated and proactive with a keen ability to identify and propose solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlines
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with visual scripting and parametric modeling tools such as Dynamo or Grasshopper
- Familiarity with Solibri for model quality and compliance checking
- Knowledge of ISO and British Standards related to BIM and construction
- Experience with model auditing and interoperability tools
- Understanding of construction and engineering workflows
- Certification in BIM coordination or related field
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business needs and emerging technologies
