About the Role
We are seeking an innovative and experienced BIM Automation Lead to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will spearhead the development and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) automation strategies, enhancing our organization's efficiency and capabilities in the AEC industry.
- Lead the development and implementation of BIM automation solutions to streamline workflows and improve productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Design, develop, and maintain custom scripts and tools using programming languages such as Python and C#
- Leverage visual programming tools like Dynamo and Grasshopper to create advanced BIM workflows
- Establish and enforce BIM standards and best practices across projects
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the BIM team
- Stay current with emerging BIM technologies and industry trends
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team members' BIM automation skills
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored BIM solutions
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and standards in the UAE
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional)
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in BIM implementation and automation
- Advanced knowledge of BIM software, including Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C#
- Experience with visual programming tools like Dynamo and Grasshopper
- Strong understanding of BIM standards and workflows
- Proven track record in developing and implementing BIM automation solutions
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- In-depth knowledge of the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry
- Familiarity with local building codes and standards in the UAE
- Willingness to work in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
