About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Architectural Transportation specialist to join our growing team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models for transportation infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery through advanced BIM methodologies and best practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality architectural transportation solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM models for transportation infrastructure projects using industry-standard software
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, civil engineers, and MEP specialists to ensure model accuracy and consistency
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between architectural, structural, and systems components
- Create detailed technical documentation, drawings, and specifications from BIM models
- Analyze transportation design requirements and translate them into accurate 3D models and visualizations
- Manage BIM standards, protocols, and quality assurance procedures across projects
- Prepare construction documentation and coordinate with contractors for field implementation
- Conduct design reviews and provide recommendations for optimization and constructability
- Maintain organized project files, databases, and BIM asset libraries
- Collaborate on project planning and scheduling to ensure timely model delivery
- Support the development and implementation of BIM workflows and best practices within the organization
What do we need from you
**Required Skills & Experience:**
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or equivalent modeling platforms
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling techniques
- 3-5 years of professional experience in BIM, architectural design, or transportation infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of transportation design standards and infrastructure requirements
- Experience with clash detection and coordination tools (Navisworks or similar)
- Excellent technical documentation and drawing preparation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary team environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in project coordination and stakeholder communication
**Preferred Skills & Experience:**
- Advanced expertise in Autodesk Revit with customization capabilities
- Experience with Civil 3D for transportation design
- Knowledge of Dynamo scripting or visual programming for BIM automation
- Familiarity with BIM standards and protocols (ISO 19650, LOD specifications)
- Experience on large-scale transportation or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of MEP coordination and integration
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Understanding of construction sequencing and logistics
