EGIS is looking for a BIM & Data Automation Specialist to manage and optimize automation workflows that drive efficiency across multiple BIM & data management platforms. In this role, you will configure projects, schedule automated tasks, monitor system health, and collaborate with BIM and functional Leads to deliver accurate and reliable outputs. Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain BIM automation workflows to streamline processes across Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, and Navisworks.
- Schedule and monitor automated tasks for exporting NWCs, PDFs, schedules, IFCs, and generating lists.
- Operate and maintain a global network of virtual machines, troubleshoot errors, and ensure stable system integrations.
- Develop and execute scripts (e.g., Dynamo, C#) and leverage Autodesk APIs to enhance automation capabilities.
- Collaborate with BIM Leads to translate project requirements into reliable automated outputs and maintain clear documentation.
- Transforms raw data into actionable insights by designing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, collaborating with stakeholders to define needs, modelling data with tools like DAX and Power Query, ensuring data quality, and supporting self-service analytics to drive business decisions
- Hands-on experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks automation workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/VM operations (RDP, Citrix, VPN, UNC paths).
- Proven troubleshooting skills for unattended runs and process recovery.
- Ability to create and manage task schedules aligned with project deliverables.
- Preferred:
- Proficiency in C#, PowerShell/batch scripting
- Familiarity with ACC Desktop Connector
- Experience with JSON/XML editing
- Experience with Microsoft Power Bi
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
