Consulting and Operations offers a continuum of services ranging from strategy (pre-project) to operations and maintenance, including engineering. We are primarily involved in the mobility services sector—highways, public transportation, parking—as well as aeronautics, real estate, and urban planning. Asset management is at the heart of our business, and we take a long-term view in everything we do. Conseil et Exploitation is unique in that it operates 20 airports and 30 road companies and is a stakeholder in five concessions.
We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Operations Safety & Regulatory Expert to join our team in Toulouse, France. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance across our aviation operations.
You will be in charge of:
- Assisting commercial air operators (airlines), civil aviation authorities and potentially maintenance organisations remotely and on-site:
- Performing gap analysis and organisational reviews
- Issuing high level and detailed technical recommendations to enhance safety
- Delivering safety awareness and training on aviation technical, organisational and regulatory topics
- Managing project activities & project team
- Periodically reporting on the progress and achievements to the customers & the Egis management
Added tasks consisting of bid management, project management.
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field such as pilote license
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation safety and regulatory compliance within a training or maintenance organisation, civil aviation authority in the field of OPS, PEL, AIR, GOPS or SMS domains
- In-depth knowledge of EASA and ICAO regulations
- Proven track record in developing and implementing safety management systems (SMS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Experience in conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., IATA Diploma in Safety Management, EASA Part 145)
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements
- Experience in developing and delivering safety training programmes
- Familiarity with aviation industry best practices and emerging trends
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across the organisation
