About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Associate - Wet Utilities to join our dynamic Infrastructure Team in Riyadh. In this role, you will support the design, development, and delivery of complex wet utilities projects while working alongside experienced professionals. You will contribute technical expertise, assist in project management activities, and help maintain the highest standards of quality across our multidisciplinary initiatives.   • Provide technical support and assistance in the design and development of wet utilities projects, including potable water, sewer, storm, irrigation, district cooling, and firefighting systems
  • Support project teams in the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects while maintaining rigorous quality standards
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing technical specifications, drawings, and detailed project documentation
  • Contribute to bidding processes and support resource management activities under senior guidance
  • Participate in technical and quality reviews of projects, identifying potential issues and recommending solutions to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Support the development of clash-free Building Information Modeling (BIM) models and provide guidance on clash resolution
  • Assist in conducting project audits and ensure compliance with local and international design standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support on-time and on-budget project delivery
  • Develop innovative and sustainable solutions for infrastructure project challenges in partnership with senior team members
  • Provide technical documentation and maintain organized project records
  • Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team environment

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field
  • Minimum of 10 years of design experience in wet utilities infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated experience in the design of wet utilities systems including potable water, sewer, storm, irrigation, district cooling, and firefighting
  • Proficiency with relevant software packages such as HEC HMS, HEC RAS, EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, SewerCAD, StormCAD, and SWMM
  • Working knowledge of design and modeling software including ArcGIS, MicroStation, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, and HAMMER
  • Experience with clash resolution and utilities modeling software such as Navisworks, Bentley Navigator, and Autodesk Civil 3D
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations applicable to wet utilities design
  • Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and support large-scale projects
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address technical challenges
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Proficiency in time management and organizational skills
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred)
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Familiarity with UAE and Middle East regional standards and regulations (preferred)
