About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Structural Engineer to join our Building Engineering team in Auckland. In this role, you will lead projects from start to finish, managing all stages to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality structural solutions for a diverse client base. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, you’ll oversee project planning, execution, and delivery while collaborating closely with internal teams to achieve project objectives.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, guiding them in their technical and professional growth. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of Egis in Auckland, playing a pivotal role in building up our team and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.


What do we need from you

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years’ experience working in Structural Engineering space
  • CPEng status is desirable but not essential
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal and external stakeholder engagements and business development opportunities.
  • Experience in successfully managing projects within budget and on time.
