About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate - Mechanical to join our engineering team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will support the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components. You will work collaboratively with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mechanical solutions while maintaining meticulous attention to technical specifications and project timelines.

  • Assist in the design and analysis of mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software
  • Interpret and create technical drawings, specifications, and documentation in accordance with industry standards
  • Conduct mechanical calculations and perform preliminary analysis to support design decisions
  • Support the development and testing of prototypes, ensuring quality standards are met
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to improve product performance
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation for traceability and compliance
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, proposing efficient solutions
  • Support the preparation of technical reports and project documentation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the mechanical engineering department

What do we need from you

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with quality assurance and testing methodologies
  • Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools (preferred)
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in mechanical engineering (preferred)
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborative environments (preferred)
  • Technical certifications in mechanical engineering or related fields (preferred)
