We are seeking an experienced and visionary Associate Director (Electrical) to join our team in Hong Kong, Hong Kong. In this leadership role, you will oversee and guide our electrical engineering projects, ensuring excellence in design, implementation, and management of electrical systems for various large-scale projects.
· Act as Team Leader to supervise the projects, including Planning, Design, Preparation of drawings & specifications, Tendering, Coordination, Client Meetings, Site Meetings, Site Supervision, Handover, Post-Handover Services, etc.
· Act as the Projects In-charge of various construction projects during the different time phase, evaluate construction procedure for various project, prepare solution statements, monitor and manage the progress reports.
· Lead the training and skill development and perform team/resources planning and management.
· Coordinate and liaise with project teams, clients, architects, utilities, consultants, main contractors and Government Authorities on all project matters for our building construction projects.
· Oversee and ensure that the design and maintenance of building systems and related works meet the project, legislative and safety requirement, etc.
· Lead tender preparation, with cost estimation.
· Monitor and review the works of sub-contractors and suppliers.
· Monitor project cost and programme to ensure meeting with client’s requirements.
· Monitor in-house cost/ resources planning and management for projects.
· Degree or above in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services / Fire Service engineering or related discipline with at least 8 years of related working experience; and minimum 3 years at Supervisor level;
· Corporate member of the HKIE or other recognized professional institutions in Building Services/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering;
· Proven related project management experience;
· Working experience with client of both private and public sectors, together with main contractors;
· Understanding of local authorities procedures, legislative and requirements;
· Understanding in AutoCAD, BIM, MS Office, Microsoft Project;
· Good Interpersonal and communication skills as a good team leader;
· Fluency of both written and spoken Chinese and English;
· Experience with consultancy firm will be an advantage.
