We’re looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Project Manager to join our high-performing Urban Development team on the Brisbane. In this role, you’ll support with the delivery of land subdivision / greenfield / masterplanning projects, coordinating diverse tasks, working across multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring exceptional outcomes for our clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and delivery of urban development projects.
- Assist with program, budget, and risk tracking across multiple project stages.
- Act as superintendent during construction.
- Assist with preparing bids, proposals, tenders and contract documentation in line with Australian Standards.
- Assisting with authority approvals and construction-phase activities, including site inspections and civil works superintendency.
- Liaise with clients, councils, authorities, and internal stakeholders as required.
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Planning, or a related discipline
- Contract Admin experience desired
- 2+ years’ experience in urban development, civil construction, engineering consultancy, or a related field
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Confident communicator with a collaborative, professional approach
- Understanding of land development processes, design coordination, and construction fundamentals
