Assistant Engineer - Bridges

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Engineer - Bridges to join our engineering team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will support the design, analysis, and construction of bridge infrastructure projects. You will work collaboratively with senior engineers and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of bridge engineering solutions that meet technical specifications and safety standards.

• Assist in the design and analysis of bridge structures using industry-standard software and engineering principles
• Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and design documentation with precision and attention to detail
• Conduct structural analysis and modeling to evaluate bridge performance under various load conditions
• Support site inspections and prepare comprehensive documentation of bridge conditions and construction progress
• Collaborate with project teams to develop construction methodologies and implementation plans
• Analyze bridge construction data and identify potential design improvements or optimization opportunities
• Maintain organized project files and technical records in accordance with company standards
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to team members and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with relevant Indian bridge codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and implementing corrective measures efficiently

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and bridge design fundamentals
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or equivalent structural analysis tools)
• Solid understanding of structural analysis and bridge construction methodologies
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and specifications accurately
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to engineering challenges
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional team collaboration
• Knowledge of Indian bridge codes and standards (IRC) is preferred
• Experience with bridge maintenance, rehabilitation, or field construction is advantageous
• Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work with precision and maintain high attention to detail
