We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant BIM Engineer - Structures to join our growing team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will support the development and management of Building Information Models for structural projects, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project requirements. You will work collaboratively with senior engineers, architects, and project teams to deliver high-quality BIM deliverables that drive project success.
- Develop and maintain 3D structural models using BIM software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications
- Perform clash detection and coordinate structural elements with architectural, MEP, and other discipline models
- Create and update technical drawings, schedules, and documentation from BIM models
- Analyze and interpret structural design requirements and translate them into coordinated BIM models
- Support the preparation of construction documentation and BIM coordination reports
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve modeling conflicts and optimize structural solutions
- Maintain organized project files and BIM standards in compliance with organizational protocols
- Assist in quality assurance reviews to ensure model integrity and data consistency
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide technical input on structural modeling challenges
- Support the implementation of BIM best practices and continuous process improvements
**Required Skills and Experience:**
- Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit for structural modeling
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, visualization, and technical drawing creation
- Solid understanding of structural engineering fundamentals and building codes
- Experience with clash detection and coordination workflows
- Familiarity with construction documentation and sequencing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and coordination tools such as Navisworks
- 1-3 years of experience in BIM, structural engineering, or related field
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience with structural design software and analysis tools
- Knowledge of building information modeling standards and protocols
- Familiarity with project management and coordination processes
- Experience working on multi-disciplinary projects
- Understanding of construction methodologies and site coordination
- Strong communication and collaborative skill set
