We’re looking for an Assistant Accountant based out of our London Waterloo head office to support our UK Finance Shared Services team, working across multiple areas.
- Assist with the invoicing team in invoicing customer
- Review and reconcile the banking on a daily basis
- Assist with Master Data reviews for Customer & Suppliers
- Assist with Credit Control, phoning and email customers to agree payment dates
- Assist the procurement team in delegating approvals
- AAT, CIMA, ACCA Part Qualified accountant or relevant preferable
- Good knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and reporting standards
- Great communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Excellent organization, administration and interpersonal skills
- Proactive outlook: hands-on can do mentality with a continuous improvement mindset
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite
- Some experience using Oracle preferred but not essential
