About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Asset Planner (Roads O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing effective asset management strategies for road infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of our transportation network.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive asset management plans for road infrastructure, specifically linear assets including road markings, lining, vehicle restraint systems and directional signage. 
  • Analyze asset condition data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in road infrastructure maintenance
  • Create and update asset registers, including condition assessments and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance activities and capital projects
  • Prepare budget forecasts and long-term financial plans for asset maintenance and replacement
  • Utilize GIS and asset management systems to track and visualize asset information
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to optimize asset lifecycle
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to road asset management
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of asset management processes and procedures

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset maintenance planning or a related field, preferably in roads operations and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of roads infrastructure and asset lifecycle management
  • Proficiency in asset management systems (EAMS), GIS software, and data analysis tools
  • Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
