The Asset Management Manager is responsible for overseeing the effective management of motorway assets, ensuring their optimal performance, safety, and longevity. This role involves supervising inspections, managing GIS asset engineers, and coordinating planning and scheduling activities. The Asset Management Manager will also oversee the EAMS (Enterprise Asset Management System) engineering team to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of motorway infrastructure.
Reporting to the Project Manager, your main missions will be as follows:
- Oversee regular inspections of motorway assets to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Coordinate inspection teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
- Manage GIS asset engineers to ensure accurate mapping and documentation of motorway assets.
- Utilize GIS data to support asset management strategies and decision-making processes.
- Develop and implement maintenance planning and scheduling processes to maximize asset performance and minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align maintenance activities with operational goals.
- Lead the EAMS engineering team to optimize the use of asset management software and tools.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the EAMS to support effective asset tracking and reporting.
- Develop and implement asset management strategies to enhance the efficiency and reliability of motorway operations.
- Monitor asset performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
- Prepare and manage budgets for asset management activities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Communicate asset management plans
- Prepare and present reports on asset management performance to the Project manager.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet O&M contractual indicator.
Educational Qualification
BA (Bachelor of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences), BSc (Bachelor of Sciences), BEng (Bachelor of Engineering) or equivalent.
