We are currently looking for an exceptional experienced Sustainability Transformation Modelling Specialist for Egis Architecture Line, with expertise in sustainability modelling software to join our team, based in Hong Kong.  The successful candidate will have a professional background in sustainable architecture, who has applied advanced environmental modelling tools on both new build and retrofit projects. 


About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Support the upskilling of architects by enabling data-driven design decisions, including operational and embodied carbon assessments;
  • Act as a sustainability liaison across multiple project teams, fostering a culture of sustainability throughout the studios across Asia;
  • Work closely with architects and external consultants to identify opportunities for enhancing sustainable design strategies;
  • Contribute to the development of sustainability policies and strategies within Architectural Linke practices. 

What do we need from you

Requirements:

  • Degree in Architecture / Engineering or Sustainable Design from an internationally recognised university;
  • Min. 5 years post qualification experience in architecture, with strong focus in sustainable design;
  • Demonstrated experience applying sustainability modelling to real-world projects;
  • Thorough knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and Green Building Certification guidelines;
  • Passion for studying and researching new green technology, materials and systems;
  • Strong understanding of building accreditation frameworks, i.e. LEED GA/AP EEAM, Estidama, PassivHaus, Nabers, CalGreen;
  • PassivHaus Designer qualification is a plus;
  • Able to communicate: verbally, graphically, and in writing;
  • Sound knowledge of 3D delivery and environmental analysis tools such as; Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, DesignBuilder, DesignPH, PHPP, Forma, Insight, Climate Studio, Ladybug, IES, Flixo, Trisco, One Click LCA, EC3;
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Architect.
