About the Role

  1. Role:
  1. Day to day involvement in development of project design tasks assigned by the team leader from early stages of design, through technical design development, to the construction documentation.
  1. Design Management and Team Leadership:
  1. Adhere to project deadlines
  2. Maintain the design quality standards.
  3. Deliver the project under the guidance of Project Architect (PA), Senior Architect (SA) and/or Design Manager (DM).
  1. Design & Technical Expertise:
  1. Contribute to preparation of project/s’ concept design preparation including but not limited to:
  1. Project Model/s and Graphical presentation
  2. Drawings and Reports
  1. Collaborate with SA or DM on complex design challenges and ensure technical feasibility.
  2. Develop specific project deliveries while maintaining high-quality design and construction documents.
  3. Adopt creative design and problem solving approach.
  4. Participate in the design coordination process within Architecture team.
  5. Develop project BIM Models and design documents (drawings and reports).
  6. Be informed about the applicable codes requirements and building materials/systems.
  7. Maintain the models’ BIM quality level under the guidance of PA/SA/DM with the BIM Coordinator / Manager.
  8. Accountable for successful project delivery of assigned tasks meeting the targeted deadlines.
  9. Accountable for maintaining the Quality of assigned tasks.
  10. Accountable for efficient planning and utilization of project’s man-hours assigned by team leader. 
  1. Communication and Collaboration:
  1. Fluency in spoken and written communication
  1. Active participation in internal meetings and workshops.
  2. Building strong relationships with other team members.
  3. Promoting and maintaining collaborative environment in the office
  1. Department Operations:
  1. Maintain professional code of conduct in line with the company’s ethics.
  2. Collaborate effectively with other disciplines.
  3. Participate in Knowledge sharing and skills development.
  4. Develop ownership approach to assigned design tasks.

What do we need from you

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s in architecture with good experience.
  2. Minimum of [4] years of experience in architectural design (Architect Level II).
  3. Previous training or coop experience in architectural design (Architect).
  4. Strong understanding of architectural design principles.
  5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proficient in BIM process, implementation and workflows.
