About the Role

  •  Review architectural designs to ensure compliance with airport standards, regulations (ICAO, IATA, FAA), and local building codes.
  • Ensure designs align with functional, operational, and aesthetic requirements of the airport expansion.
  • Monitor architectural works on-site to ensure construction matches approved designs.
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior design teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Verify that construction materials comply with approved specifications and sustainability standards.
  • Ensure architectural finishes, façade systems, and interior elements meet quality expectations.
  • Work with airport authorities, contractors, and consultant team to integrate design changes efficiently.
  • Address design conflicts, site challenges, and client requirements promptly
  • Ensure architectural solutions promote energy efficiency, passenger comfort, and sustainability.
  • Recommend innovative design enhancements to improve functionality and aesthetics.
  • Assess and approve design modifications, change requests, and value engineering proposals.
  • Maintain as-built drawings, design approvals, and compliance reports.

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture (Master’s degree or specialized certification is a plus). Professional architectural license or certification (e.g., RIBA, AIA, LEED, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of airport terminal design, aviation facilities, and international building codes.
  • Familiarity with ICAO, IATA, and local civil aviation regulations related to airport infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and visualization tools.
  • Experience in architectural design and supervision, with at least 12 years in a Project Management and Construction Supervision role on international airport projects.
  • Extensive experience in supervising terminal buildings, concourses, lounges, and airside/landside facilities.
  • Expertise in materials selection, space planning, passenger flow optimization, and sustainability considerations.
  • Strong understanding of fire safety, accessibility (ADA), and energy-efficient design principles.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, MEP, and interior design specialists.
  • Experience in reviewing contractor submittals, shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with approved designs.
