FF&E Designer

• Liaise directly with clients, sub-consultants, contractors
• Work with the design team to develop 3D visuals and concept narratives, ensure visuals is as per specs.
• Reviewing Project’s FF&E technical submissions and specifications.
• Produce concept designs and mood boards related to FF&E selections, and finish, ID Material finishes, sanitary ware, Ironmongery, Gym Equipment and hardware selections.
• Strong background in multiple project types, luxury hospitality, F&B, residential, workplace, retail, office.
• Ability to manage projects from concept through to installation.
• Strong supplier relations and can source unique project materials.
• Review FF&E and material selections from the design team to ensure quality and cohesion.
• Support in the production of FF&E specification books and other relevant spec documents.
• Check basic CAD work for layouts and bespoke furniture design. Support in reviewing shop drawings and prototypes to ensure they align with the design intent.
• Understands individual clients' needs and the needs of the people using the spaces, developing FF&E design concepts in consultation with the client and establishing final briefs
• Provide proposals for in improving all company standards related to FF&E specification.
• Check the FF&E deliverables for projects   
• Mentoring and directing junior and middle-weight designers
• Supervising quality at the design and delivery stage and on-site when required for the project.
• Keeping up to date with new developments in the design industry.
• Excellent understanding of adobe indesign and photoshop, autocad, excel and technical shop drawings.
• Exceptional understanding of suppliers, materials, fabrics, sanitaryware, lighting and ironmongery specifications.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to meet tight project deadlines
• Strong sense of design flair, love of art and furniture arrangements.
• Good Communication skills
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Strong conceptualization and presentation skills

• Bachelor of Architecture / Interior Design
• 8 to 10 years of experience with at least 5 years working with international consulting companies in the UAE
• Proficient in Revit/ BIM delivery processes
• Strong technical and design expertise with experience handling large-scale projects from concept to completion.
