The Shovel Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment (shovel) efficiently and safely at various project sites, including marine and beach operations. The ideal candidate must ensure smooth equipment operation while adhering to safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the shovel for loading, excavation, and material handling activities as instructed.
Ensure proper functioning of the machine through daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Coordinate with site supervisors and the plant team to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies during operation.
Report any mechanical issues, damages, or incidents immediately to the Plant Manager.
Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the equipment at all times.
Support other equipment or site activities as directed by the Plant Manager.
What do we need from you
A valid UAE Shovel Operator (Heavy Tractor) license is essential.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English to understand work instructions.
Driving License No. 3 (LTV) will be considered an added advantage.
Knowledge of safe work practices and site safety standards.
Ability to work in marine or beach site environments.
