Egis Projects Philippines Inc (EPPI) provide services to private sector entities involved in the business of building, operating or managing roadways, railways, and other transportation infrastructure projects.
EPPI has been appointed to design, develop, support and maintain a tolling system based on free flow, nonstop operating mode. This toll system shall have components located on various points (tolling points) of the toll roads- Roadside Equipment (which is subcontracted), and 2 pieces of centralized equipment cloud-based (Operation Back Office and Commercial Back office), being developed by EPPI’s Software Development Center (SDC) team. These mainly consist of web based software (Customer Portal, Account Management Systems, Customer Relationship Management system, Back office portal), microservices back ends (API) and mobile apps, managing more than 3 million end user accounts.
Duties and responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Review and analysis of requirements and specifications, collaborates with development team, business/stakeholders.
- Performance Test Planning: Prepare Performance Test Plans, create high quality test cases, test scripts from non-functional requirements.
- Performance Test Execution: Establish benchmarks, conduct load, stress and endurance tests using Jmeter to assess the behavior of the system under test (loads for API, Database and Web Application)
- Performance Test Monitoring/Tuning: Measure, analysis and evaluation of performance test results, participate in defect review process, and collaborate with the development and infrastructure team to identify performance bottlenecks, performance improvements as necessary.
- Suggest new tools and techniques to improve performance testing practices
- Will be reporting to the Test Manager and will work closely with the project managers, subproject managers, testing and development team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance including at least 2-3 years in performance testing (load, stress, endurance)
- Must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in IT
- Strong understanding of the SDLC and STLC process
- Strong attention to details, good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in various testing tools such as Jmeter, Postman, MSSQL, Swagger, Jira, Xray, etc.
- Basic SQL scripting experience
Work Location and Schedule
- Amenable to work in a hybrid setup located in Ortigas Center, Pasig
- Day shift, Monday to Friday
