Conduct site inspections prior to the commencement of construction activities to ensure site conditions align with the design of permanent works. Identify and document any obstructions or issues.
Photograph and record existing property conditions that may be impacted by the construction. Ensure proper protection of existing structures, utilities, landscaping, and property.
Review materials delivered to the site for compliance with approved samples, specifications, and equipment. Report any non-conformities.
Verify proper storage of delivered materials and report discrepancies.
Inspect the construction of permanent works to ensure they comply with contract documents, approved shop drawings, and submittals.
Maintain detailed daily logs and reports, including inspections performed, tests conducted, and work executed, in accordance with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
Monitor site safety practices and overall work progress. Report any safety concerns or deviations from the plan.
Support inspections of completed works and assist in preparing punch lists.
Participate in the monitoring of system start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
Perform any additional duties assigned by the direct manager.
Minimum of ten (7) years of experience in a similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Solid knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, and industry trade practices.
Proficient in computer applications relevant to the role.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and project planning skills.
Experience coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders on-site.
Team-oriented, proactive, organized, and solutions-focused.
Effective in time and task management.
