Based in Riyadh, the Senior Contracts Manager will be deployed into a high-profile Architectural Engineering and Construction (AEC) Program and will report to the Procurement Director. As part of his/her responsibilities, he/she:
- Will provide contractual and legal support to the Program’s Bid Management Team from preparation of tender packages, commercial evaluation of bids received, contract negotiation and contract formation.
- Will monitor and enforce contractors’ compliance with the Contract terms and conditions, review change order requests and contractors' claims, and prepare the contractual correspondence as required.
- Ensure that each step complies with the applicable Government Tender Laws and international best commercial practices.
- Maintain a register of contractual commercial topics pertaining to each contract
- Assist EGIS and its Client on any Commercial and Contractual matter that is relevant to the Program.
Qualifications
The candidate shall have the following minimum qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Quantity Survey, Contract Management or related discipline
- 15+ year of professional experience in the Construction Industry as a Contract Administrator, Commercial Arbitrator or Claim Practitioner. Affiliation to chartered professional bodies specialized in Contract Management or Commercial arbitration is preferred.
- Bilingual Arabic/English is a must
- Must demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly familiar with the Saudi Arabian Government Tenders and Procurement Law
