About the Role

  • Conduct site inspections prior to the commencement of construction activities to ensure site conditions align with the design of permanent works. Identify and document any obstructions or issues.

  • Photograph and record existing property conditions that may be impacted by the construction. Ensure proper protection of existing structures, utilities, landscaping, and property.

  • Review materials delivered to the site for compliance with approved samples, specifications, and equipment. Report any non-conformities.

  • Verify proper storage of delivered materials and report discrepancies.

  • Inspect the construction of both temporary and permanent works to ensure they comply with contract documents, approved shop drawings, and submittals.

  • Maintain detailed daily logs and reports, including inspections performed, tests conducted, and work executed, in accordance with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.

  • Monitor site safety practices and overall work progress. Report any safety concerns or deviations from the plan.

  • Support inspections of completed works and assist in preparing punch lists.

  • Participate in the monitoring of system start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover processes.

  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the direct manager.


What do we need from you

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a similar role.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Solid knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, and industry trade practices.

  • Proficient in computer applications relevant to the role.

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.

  • Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and project planning skills.

  • Experience coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders on-site.

  • Team-oriented, proactive, organized, and solutions-focused.

  • Effective in time and task management.
