We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Treasury/Cash management lead for the region.  This role is instrumental in improving overall project billing and collection processes by driving project teams' behavior and awareness and will be responsible for optimizing cash flow, strengthening working capital management, and mitigating credit risk through the development and enhancement of credit control policies, strategies, and procedures.

This position also responsible for banking facilities across the business entity such as any financing and loan documentation and/or administration points whilst also overseeing all activities linked to Trade Finance, any LC issuance, Bank Guarantees and all subsequent payment cycles.  This position shall interact to oversee, as the correspondent, to manage daily relationship with any banking and/or financing partners.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Participant in the monthly and yearly billing and collection projections to provide valuable insights and contribute to accurate forecasting
• Develop and enhance credit control policies, strategies, and procedures to optimize cash flow, strengthen working capital management, and mitigate credit risk
• Review, advise, and liaise with project teams on contract credit terms for projects
• Closely communicate with project controlling teams to monitor and drive timely project billings, review, and anticipate billing issues, and escalate them as necessary
• Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, problematic accounts, and potential delinquencies
• Communicate with some major clients regarding payment status and negotiate alternative repayment plans when necessary and proactively report and discuss solutions for customer irregularities with business line management and project teams
• Foster effective collaboration and problem resolution among the project team, finance, legal, and other departments to ensure cohesive credit management throughout the organization
• Prepare AR analysis reports and perform key client profile reviews
• Issuing guarantees and bonds for projects, dealing directly with business development, project finance, project development, and the operations teams for any request related to guarantees and following up on the renewal, termination, and amendments in bank guarantees
• Preparing a monthly bank guarantees status report showing all guarantees related to Egis’ projects, their values, type, purpose, term, and forecast
• Handling debt facility arrangements with the group treasury team and banks and Cash pooling operations as needed.
• Provide governance support to setup and managing bank accounts and monitoring cash balance reporting in treasury system

• Degree holder or tertiary educated
• Proven experience in corporate treasury, finance, and with proven track record in managing cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Highly organized and motivated individual, proactive, independent, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills, with a focus on team collaboration
• Previous exposure to engineering, construction, consulting business, or property development is an advantage
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
