About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Amman, Jordan. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and technical leads to support the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of projects. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your project management expertise while making a meaningful contribution to our organization's success.   • Support Project Managers with day-to-day project delivery activities and coordinate team efforts
  • Assist in developing a comprehensive understanding of client objectives, project scope, and desired outcomes
  • Help prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports
  • Track project finances and assist with cost monitoring to ensure projects remain within budget
  • Support the preparation of bids, tenders, and proposals with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Coordinate and review design documentation and technical deliverables
  • Attend site inspections and support construction or implementation phase activities as needed
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and stakeholder communications to ensure transparent and timely information sharing
  • Apply organizational quality, safety, and risk management systems consistently across all projects
  • Maintain organized and accessible project documentation in accordance with company standards and requirements
  • Identify potential risks and issues early, escalating concerns to Project Managers proactively
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges and support project objectives

What do we need from you

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Prior experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Support, or similar administrative/support role
  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with project management software
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong attention to accuracy in documentation and reporting
  • Proactive mindset with a genuine willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and support colleagues effectively

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience supporting projects in a consulting or engineering environment
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies or frameworks
  • Basic understanding of project budgeting and financial tracking
  • Experience with project management tools or software platforms
  • Knowledge of quality, safety, and risk management systems
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking ability
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
